I was able to finish the Buddha Inspiring Message frame and the Greek Goddess wall art today. It felt good to finish these pieces because they had been in the "work in progress" stage for quite a while now. I've added some pictures of these two Mixed Media pieces below. I hope you enjoy them.
Thank you for stopping by!

Hamsa Hand and Sun Tags for The Artistic Stamper Creative Team Blogspot - January 2017 Challenge
It looks like my creative muse is on a roll because I have created two new tags and I'm submitting them to the The Artistic Stamper Creative Team Blogspot Monthly Challenge - Anything Goes.
The 6.25" x 3" tag has been painted with Dylusion paint, then sprayed with Lindy's Stamp Gang glitter mist using a stencil. Using the same stencil, I used Viva Decor modeling paste off-setting it just a bit to give it dimension. The stamped reads: "What appears to be the end is usually the start of a new beginning." The Hamsa hand on the lower right side is a clay embellishment.
The 5.25" x 2" tag was painted with Dylusion paint, Viva Decor modeling paste was used on a small circle stencil and purple paint was used on an arrow stencil. The ticket stamp on the left side was stamped with maroon ink and the sun stamp at the bottom right was stamped with black ink.
Thank you for stopping by!

Steampunk Canvas - Last Time
Hello Everyone, I hope you all had a nice weekend! As I was trying to organize some of my supplies, I found this canvas that I finished a while ago. I put it aside with plans to post it at a later time, but I hadn't planned to wait this long! lol!
It is a Steampunk themed 8" x 10" canvas, with a lot of layers, dimensional stencils, paint and clock embellishments. The sentiment at the top reads: "when was the last time you did something for the very first time". I truly like this message, it's very poignant.

I hope you all like this canvas and thank you for stopping by!!!

Unruly PaperArts - Inspire Your Heart With Art Day
Hello Everyone!!!
After a very looooong "vacation" from blogging and sad to say that even creating, I am back! As I was catching up on Facebook, I noticed that my friend Danielle from Unruly PaperArts invited me to participate in their event called Inspire Your Heart With Art Day. Make sure that you stop by their blog and leave a comment on their wonderful works of art!
I created this 5"x7" canvas panel with tons of acrylic paints, gesso, stencils, glass beads and of course tons of love from my heart. I really like the sentiment, it is one that truly called out to me! One of my favorite techniques at the moment is using stencils with 3D modeling paste. Just when you think your piece is completed, you find another spot for more stenciling. I just love the dimension and texture that you can create. Below are a few pictures of the canvas panel and I truly hope you enjoy it! Thank you for stopping by!!!

Tag on Tag - Tag Tuesday Challenge
I'm very happy that this week I was able to play along with the Tag Tuesday Blog. It's been quite a while since I joined in the fun and I'm glad to submit a tag for their Tag on Tag Challenge.
I really like the way this tag turned out! The larger tag has been painted with acrylic paint and has a layer of texture paste created with a stencil. Once the paste dried, I spritzed it with blue Tattered Angels mist. The smaller tag also has a stenciled background and has two stamped leaves. While looking through my stash of images, the bird jumped right out at me because the swirls on the large tag remind me of clouds. It is a transferred image and my favorite part is that it is transparent allowing you to see the beautiful background. I hope you like this tag as much as I do. Thank you for stopping by! :)
