Butterflies, Fairy, Angel and Bird

This cute, 6 panel, mixed media mini album measures 4" x 4". The metal embellishment with the butterfly sits on a piece of muslin that was painted then stamped with the words "dream big." I used several colors of Distress Inks on the inside panels, the images of the fairy, angel, bird, butterfly and other ephemera were fussy cut. I had been wanting to create a mini album for quite some time and finally got around to it.

This cute tag is being submitted to the Lunagirl Moonbeams Challenge which is Fruits & Flowers. I thought the image of the little girl was just adorable and she happens to be surrounded with flowers. I wanted the image and the tag to have a vintage feel so I added Walnut Ink Distress Ink and a touch of copper here and there. Unruly PaperArts - Inspire Your Heart With Art Day

 Hello Everyone!!!

After a very looooong "vacation" from blogging and sad to say that even creating, I am back! As I was catching up on Facebook, I noticed that my friend Danielle from Unruly PaperArts invited me to participate in their event called Inspire Your Heart With Art Day. I created this 5"x7" canvas panel with tons of acrylic paints, gesso, stencils, glass beads and of course tons of love from my heart. I really like the sentiment, it is one that truly called out to me! One of my favorite techniques at the moment is using stencils with 3D modeling paste. Just when you think your piece is completed, you find another spot for more stenciling. I just love the dimension and texture that you can create. Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge - Celebrate the Season

It's Wicked Wednesday ATC challenge once again!!! This week's Challenge #71 is Celebrate the Season and we could interpret however we want. I chose "Spring" as my theme. I really can't complain because we have been lucky to have a mild winter but I still can't wait to see all the flowers and trees blooming! :)

I inked the background, added the flowers using the watercolor technique and printed the vintage image of the seed packet. I added some Stickels for a little sparkle.
