As I was rearranging my craft room, I found a project that I had created a while back but had been lost in the "pending projects" stack.
I'm glad that I had forgotten it because I'm able to enter it in the Scrapyland Challenge #57 - Anything Goes.
The tombstone is a 6" x 3.5" wood shaped that has been painted with black and purple paints, has a spiderweb stamped around it and also has crackle medium. The low cut die is from Sizzix Thinlits, the Day of the Dead, Catrina. The Catrina has been cut and painted and has tiny metal flowers & glitter decorating it.
I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Steampunk Canvas - Last Time
Hello Everyone, I hope you all had a nice weekend! As I was trying to organize some of my supplies, I found this canvas that I finished a while ago. I put it aside with plans to post it at a later time, but I hadn't planned to wait this long! lol!
It is a Steampunk themed 8" x 10" canvas, with a lot of layers, dimensional stencils, paint and clock embellishments. The sentiment at the top reads: "when was the last time you did something for the very first time". I truly like this message, it's very poignant.

I hope you all like this canvas and thank you for stopping by!!!

Tag Tuesday Blogger - Weekly Challenge "In The Style of"
I am so excited to announce that I have been added to the Tag Tuesday Blog and will now be posting to their weekly challenges. I want to thank Carolyn Saxby for adding me to this wonderful blog!!!
This week's challenge is to create something "In The Style Of" your favorite artist or crafter. I have always admired the creations of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. Their paintings are always rich in color and the expressions are so lifelike. The picture of the painting I chose is from Dante Gabriel Rossetti, one of the original three members of the Brotherhood. Make sure to stop by the Tag Tuesday Blog to look at all the beautiful tags that have been created.

Michael Strong Group - Card Captain
This is an overdue post. During the week of March 19th, I was Card Captain for the Michael Strong Yahoo Group. It was A LOT of fun but I have to admit that when I first volunteered, I was a little intimidated. It is not as stressful as I had imagined. If you get a chance, visit the group. They're all so nice and very talented!!!
Here are three of my projects. Hope you like them and thanks for stopping by!!! :)
