Unruly PaperArts - Inspire Your Heart With Art Day

 Hello Everyone!!!

After a very looooong "vacation" from blogging and sad to say that even creating, I am back! As I was catching up on Facebook, I noticed that my friend Danielle from Unruly PaperArts invited me to participate in their event called Inspire Your Heart With Art Day. I created this 5"x7" canvas panel with tons of acrylic paints, gesso, stencils, glass beads and of course tons of love from my heart. I really like the sentiment, it is one that truly called out to me! One of my favorite techniques at the moment is using stencils with 3D modeling paste. Just when you think your piece is completed, you find another spot for more stenciling. I just love the dimension and texture that you can create. Shabby Chic Canvas & Beach Beauty

I had created these projects a couple of months ago but had not posted the pictures, here are a few close ups. The canvas is 8" x 10" Shabby Chic style, that has a lot of layers of ink, lace, pressed leaves and other wonderful layers. The vintage photo is a transfer and has a piece of mica on top with a stamped image. The beach beauty has been created on corrugated cardboard also with several layers of paint, gesso, micro glass beads and real shells.
