The Cheerful Stamp Pad - Purple and Yellow Challenge

The Cheerful Stamp Pad is hosting challenge #72, Purple and Yellow theme this week. I wanted to create something that was not a tag or card. What I came up with is a miniature canvas and it measures 2" W x 4" L. The canvas was painted with a vibrant purple color, unfortunately, the color that is shown in the pictures is not as bright as it is in person. The picture of the yellow bird is a vintage image, a strip of yellow burlap is on the left side with some embellishments.

Miniature Creations

Lately, I've had so much fun creating ATCs. I had read somewhere that once you started creating them, it was hard to stop. Boy were they right!!! :)

Feeling Blue - ATCs

I got a chance to get my hands inky this weekend and decided to create a few ATCs. After creating them, I noticed that the predominant color on all ATCs was blue. Not really sure why but I do like the results! :)

Miniature Pine Cones

While walking my dog Cha-Cha recently, I noticed a pine tree with a lot of new growth. Since I love collecting leaves and other gifts provided by Mother Nature I was curious and got a bit closer. What I found was the beginning of new life - miniature pine cones!!! You're probably wondering that if I love gifts from Mother Nature so much, why is it that I had never noticed these miniature creations. The answer is quite simple :)  ...we recently moved and the area that we lived in did not have pine trees. We had plenty of maple, oak, gingko and other trees but not pine trees.
