While walking my dog Cha-Cha recently, I noticed a pine tree with a lot of new growth. Since I love collecting leaves and other gifts provided by Mother Nature I was curious and got a bit closer. What I found was the beginning of new life - miniature pine cones!!! You're probably wondering that if I love gifts from Mother Nature so much, why is it that I had never noticed these miniature creations. The answer is quite simple :) ...we recently moved and the area that we lived in did not have pine trees. We had plenty of maple, oak, gingko and other trees but not pine trees.
